Justin Bieber performs onstage during the Think It Up education initiative telecast for teachers and students, hosted by Entertainment Industry Foundation at Barker Hangar on Sept. 11, 2015 in Santa Monica, California.

Justin Bieber's new life motto? "Work hard, play hard."

The singer uploaded a few Instagram videos of himself working hard painting a wall, while what sounds like new Purpose tracks play in the background.

The Daily Mail reports Bieber is painting the walls of a youth gang intervention center in Los Angeles as part of his community service stemming from his 2014 egging case.

Bieber, for his part, was eager to prove he was really working, captioning one video, "For the people who think I picked the paint brush to look like I am painting I'm really in this shit."

The below clips features a bit of "Hard Knock Life" as well as tunes that sound like never-before-heard Biebs tracks.
