Million Man March Activists Chant Kendrick Lamar's 'Alright' on 20th Anniversary

Activists gathered at the National Mall in Washington, D.C., Saturday (Oct. 10) to honor the 20th anniversary of the Million Man March and to protest racial inequality.

Among the thousands-strong crowd were rappers J. Cole, Common and Jay Electronica, according to numerous photos of the artists posted on social media Saturday. The rally was a trending topic on social media, with #MillionManMarch and #JusticeOrElse being the top hashtags. See some of the social media posts below.

Many who marched in the crowd were filmed chanting the chorus to Kendrick Lamar’s To Pimp a Butterfly track “Alright,” Complex reports. The event was being live streamed on Revolt’s website.
