In a new Global Goals video, One Direction, Jennifer Lopez, Coldplay’s Chris Martin, Robert Pattinson, Jennifer Lawrence and more stars chime in as the UN’s 15-year plan is outlined.

“We can be -- we must be -- the first generation to end extreme poverty. The generation most determined to fight injustice and inequalities,” the video begins before outlining goals to rid countries of poverty and hunger, while working toward better healthcare and education, gender equality, economic growth, climate action and more.

World leaders got together in New York City on Friday, Sept. 25, to discuss the Global Goals ahead of Saturday’s Global Citizen Festival.
