Caitlyn Jenner Responds to Controversial Halloween Costume

The Today show aired the first part of its interview with Caitlyn Jenner this morning, and -- while playing a round of golf -- Matt Lauer asked Jenner a bunch of questions about how her life has been since she transitioned a few months ago.

Lauer also brought up the Caitlyn Jenner Halloween costume that is going around online, which comes with a brown wig and a replication of the bustier Jenner famously wore on the cover of Vanity Fair. He asked if she was "in on the joke" or found it offensive (many have labeled the costume transphobic).

"I'm in on the joke. I don't think it's offensive at all," Jenner replied. "I know the community does and they've gotten a lot of criticism for doing it. I think it's great...Life's too short." She also joked that she just wished the costume was a little bit higher quality. "We could have done my own costume," she said. "I mean that was a serious bustier on the cover of Vanity Fair, you know?"
