It’s been nearly four years since Havana Brown was identified by Billboard as one of Australia’s artists “commanding attention right now,” and she hasn’t disappointed.

The hard-working DJ (her real name is Angelique Meunier) had enjoyed a run of three No. 1s on the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart, and she's an in-demand performer on the EDM circuit and sought-after collaborator (her 2012 collab with Pitbull, "We Run the Night," reached No. 27 on the Billboard Hot 100).

Havana Brown Continues Steady Rise at Top 40

Havana’s latest single "Battle Cry" ft. Bebe Rexha and Savi is accompanied with a sexy cowboy-themed video directed by Squared Division, the team which choreographed Britney Spears’ Las Vegas residency (they've also recently worked with Nick Jonas and Iggy Azalea)

"Battle Cry," as Havana explains on location in the California desert for the making-of clip, is “really about people believing that you’re vulnerable and you’re easy to walk over. But you’re much stronger than people believe."

Havana has enjoyed more than 3.2 million career singles sales and upwards of 37 million Spotify streams, according to reps at her label Island Records Australia. Havana's ARIA Award-nominated 2014 hit "Warrior" last year reached the top spot on the Billboard Dance Club Songs chart, a feat matched by "Flashing Lights" and "We Run The Night" (2013's "Big Banana" reached No. 8 on the chart).
