With tensions riding high between Nicki Minaj and Miley Cyrus after their onstage confrontation at the MTV Video Music Awards Sunday (Aug. 30), leave it to Jimmy Kimmel to bring some humor into the situation. The late-night talk show host gave a play-by-play of the feud in a hilarious, yet totally comprehensible way: Emjois.

Thanks to the hundreds of characters available in the emoji world, there happened to be something representative of each part of the feud. Even with the help of the little cartoon pictures, Kimmel nailed the interpretation.
