First single "Walk Into the Sun" will arrive Sept. 28 at U.S. radio outlets, to be preceded early next month by a video.
"ONE" is said to sport more of an organic sound than Dirty Vegas' 2002 self-titled debut, utilizing live instrumentation and an eight-piece orchestra on tracks like "Human Love" and "Save Me." Group member Steve Smith debuted a handful of new tracks at an Aug. 6 acoustic performance in Boston.
Dirty Vegas burst onto the scene two years ago with the single "Days Go By," which hit No. 1 on Billboard's Hot Dance Music/Club Play chart and No. 14 on the Billboard Hot 100. The cut went on to win record of the year, best video and best use of music in a commercial (Mitsubishi) at the 2003 DanceStar Awards.
The album from which it was drawn peaked at No. 1 on Billboard's Top Electronic Albums tally and No. 7 on The Billboard Hot 100. It has sold 582,000 copies in the United States, according to Nielsen SoundScan.
