Tori Kelly Sings TLC, Beyonce and NSYNC in a Medley of Her Favorite VMA Moments
Tori Kelly established her rapidly rising career on YouTube, especially with covers and creative medleys. So what did she do to celebrate her upcoming performance at the MTV Video Music Awards? Create a perfect mashup of her favorite VMA moments, of course.
Throwing it all the way back to 2003 -- and bringing in some '90s classics -- Kelly commemorated VMA reunions with TLC's "Waterfalls," and NSYNC's "It's Gonna Be Me," also throwing in Beyonce's "Crazy In Love," Aaliyah's "Try Again," and Justin Timberlake's "LoveStoned/I Think She Knows." Using just her voice and acoustic guitar, she managed to seamlessly combine them all into one three-minute tune.
Kelly was announced as a VMA performer Tuesday (Aug. 25), along with Demi Lovato, The Weeknd, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, Pharrell, Twenty One Pilots with A$AP Rocky, and Justin Bieber, who will perform his single "What Do You Mean" just two days after its highly anticipated Aug. 28 release.
