The service will be held on Saturday in Bensalem, Penn., according to Joseph A. Fluehr III Funeral Home

"On Saturday August 8, 2015, the world lost an amazing man," reads the funeral home's obituary for the 32-year-old. "His life was filled with creativity. Ian was a successful model with IMG in New York. Not only was he a beautiful model, but he was a beautiful soul. He was a kid at heart, funny, down to earth, caring man. He was a bright light to all who knew him."

Jones and Lennox-Fruchtmann, 22, were in a two person kayak that capsized near Staatsburg, N.Y., on Saturday morning after celebrating a friend's birthday. A passing boat rescued Lennox-Fruchtmann, but Jones was separated. His body was recovered Monday and the following day identified as his. Neither was wearing a life vest when the kayak capsized.

The obituary continues, "He was also a talented, published photographer with a special eye for the homeless. His Street Kids Project allowed many homeless youths to transform their lives and give them hope. Ian was a dedicated participant in the AA Organization and through them affected many other lives with his testimony. We love you with all our hearts. Rest in Peace Sweet, Sweet Ian. We will see you again."

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking that donations in Ian's name be made to Cast Your Cares or Rock Ministries of Philadelphia.

Jones' remains were to be cremated following the autopsy, his mother Sherron Jones told People. She said, she plans to bring them home to Yardley, Penn., where they moved when he was a teenager.

Arrangements for a Memorial Service in New York City are pending.

Over the past couple days, Lennox-Fruchtmann has been posting images of her and Jones to Instagram.
