This is not a drill: 5 Seconds of Summer announced that their second album is dropping this fall.

Sounds Good Feels Good, the band's upcoming release, arrives Oct. 23, the Aussie pop-punk quartet revealed on Twitter.

5SOS' Ashton Irwin recently stopped by Billboard's Pop-Shop Podcast to chat about their new material, including "She's Kinda Hot," a song they worked on with Good Charlotte vets the Madden Brothers.

"The idea of the 'new broken scene' is of a revolution for our fans to get behind," Irwin told Billboard. "It's almost for the misfits and stuff like that, and it's for us to give our fans a place to belong." Listen to our chat with 5SOS' Irwin below -- it starts at 49:30.

Currently at No. 22 on the Hot 100, "She's Kinda Hot" could end up being the band's highest-charting single ever -- previously, "Amnesia" peaked at No. 16. Incidentally, 5 Seconds of Summer are in Billboard's Fan Army Face-Off, which you can vote in here.
