Little Mix never fails to bring powerhouse vocals and plenty of sass to their performances. Even when a massive bug decides to join them on stage.

While performing their song "How Ya Doin?" at a radio event in Phoenix, the British girl group couldn't keep it together when a bug flew straight into the foursome [h/t ONTD]. Leigh-Anne Pinnock was the first to see the creature and flee, creating a domino effect with the rest of the group as the bug buzzed around them.

Perrie Edwards managed to continue singing while the others ran around screaming, which allowed the girls to keep the performance going. But after witnessing the insect land in Jade Thirlwall's hair, Jesy Nelson sang, "It's in Jade's hair, oh my God get it out of here," instead of her verse in the song.

A photographer eventually came to the rescue and pulled the bug out, though Thirlwall later announced on Twitter that she could "still feel it crawling" in her hair, using the hashtag #hauntedforlife.

After the incident, Edwards mentioned to Thirlwall that she attempted to whack the bug out with her shoe. Thirlwall thanked her bandmate for the heroic efforts by saying, "You're my Jack to my Rose." Watch a video of the bug-menaced performance below.

Little Mix will take the stage at Billboard's inaugural Hot 100 Music Festival. Get all the info and your tickets here -- and for Little Mix's sake, maybe bring some bug spray along.
