A body recovered Monday was identified as that of Ian Jones -- the missing 32-year-old boyfriend of Tali Lennox-Fruchtmann, Annie Lennox's daughter -- according to ABC New York.

Jones had been missing ever since a kayak carrying him and Lennox-Fruchtmann capsized Saturday in the Hudson River. A passing boat rescued Lennox-Fruchtmann, who became separated from Jones after the accident. Neither was wearing a life vest when the kayak capsized.

Lennox-Fruchtmann mourned her boyfriend's loss on Instagram, saying, "My heart is shattered. My best friend, my soul mate, my partner in crime & creativity, the love & light of my life is no longer with me."

The Dutchess County Sheriff's Office reports the body was found near the Poughkeepsie Yacht Club. His death is being treated as an accidental drowning by authorities.
