Melanie Chisholm, Victoria Beckham, Geri Halliwell, Melanie Browne and Emma Bunton of the Spice Girls perform during the first concert of the UK leg of their world tour at the O2 Arena, December 15, 2007 in London, England.

Zig-a-zig- No?

Despite comments earlier this week from Mel B. that said she hoped the Spice Girls may be able to reunite to honor their upcoming 20-year anniversary, fans will just have to celebrate on their own by watching their London Olympics reunion, because Emma Bunton says it's not happening -- at least, not yet.

Four 'Forever'-Era Spice Girls Songs Leak

On her radio show, Bunton said "nothing's happening at the moment," according to the BBC. Journalist Dan Wootton, who originally reported a reunion was on the way in The Sunlater tweeted "no official announcement will come until later this year."

The reunion would reportedly include everyone but Victoria Beckham, who's made it clear she considers her wannabe days in the past.

Bands Who Reunited

The other women, meanwhile, are having fun with the speculation.

"If anything happens and it's concrete, and we decide on something, I will let you know," Bunton said Friday morning.

So, actually, maybe keep some solidarity pigtails after all?
