If you can’t beat ‘em, join ‘em. Norwegian duo Nico & Vinz obeyed that old idiom when they accompanied Taylor Swift on stage for a performance of their 2014 pop hit “Am I Wrong.”

Swift has made a habit of introducing besties for the crowd during her gigantic 1989 world tour (the entire World Cup-winning U.S. Women's Soccer Team got the call when she played New Jersey last month).  When the trek swung through Vancouver on the weekend, the Nordic pair were invited to join Taylor’s inner-circle for a cover of their breakthrough song.

The pair certainly felt the love. In a post on their Facebook page, Nico & Vinz wrote: "Epic epic night!! Feel so blessed to have been able to share your stage with @taylorswift . She's such an amazing person with great a energy and personality! We'll never forget this!! And of course thanks to all the swifties in Vancouver that came out."

It was a fitting cover for Swift to tackle. “Am I Wrong” and “Shake It Off” were almost inseparable in the conversation in 2014 for the year’s best pop song.

Last December, “Am I Wrong” and “Shake It Off” squared off in a Billboard.com “Best Song Bracket Battle”. Swift’s unstoppable bodyshaker took out the contest by the panelist’s four votes to 1. Watch fan-filmed footage of “Am I Wrong” below.
