Grimes attends the premiere of 'It's Not Over' presented by MAC Cosmetics and MAC AIDS Fund at Quixote Studios on Nov. 18, 2014 in Los Angeles.

Grimes wants the world to know she's a massive Star Wars fan, so she wrote a love letter to the film franchise in the new issue of LOVE magazine to prove it.

Grimes To Release New Album In October

In the endearing letter, Grimes does more than just confess her love for the films and its famous stars ("Carrie Fisher is also a total babe and slayer"). She loves the saga so much—"I first came to love Star Wars before I could even walk"—she even expresses the critical eye she has developed through the years.

"Chewie definitely seems like an actor in a suit, which I find less jarring than a CGI character," she writes, "but maybe I’m just old." (Note: She's only 27.)

She goes on to analyze the costuming, casting, significance of the droids, and of course, her favorite character: C-3PO.

"I really relate to his fear of death (among other things), although I doubt most self-aware robots in the future will be as sympathetic and benevolent to humans as he is....Rewatching the movies as an adult,
C-3PO’s stuttering humanity is a great foil for the violence and intensity of the films. Almost any scary or violent scene is mitigated by a worried awkward robot complaining about safety."
