Caitlyn Jenner previously revealed that Kanye West helped Kim Kardashian acclimate to her coming out, and on the series premiere of E!'s I Am Cait, we watched as Kanye and Kim stopped by Caitlyn's house to meet with her, her mother and sister Pam. "Kanye and I have never been really close, but I love his open-mindedness and how he's helped Kim come to grips with what's going on," Caitlyn said on I Am Cait.

Although he seemed a little uncomfortable at first (and had an amusingly odd conversation with Pam about his sock shoes), Kanye offered the most unequivocal support for Caitlyn in the debut episode.

"I think it’s one of the strongest things that have happened in our existence as human beings, that are so controlled by perception," West said. "You couldn’t have been up against more. Your daughter’s a supermodel, you’re a celebrity. Every type of thing, and it was still like, ‘Fuck it everybody, this is who I am.'"

Later in the episode, Jenner visited with the parents of Kyler Prescott, a trans teenager who tragically killed himself earlier this year. The debut episode also found Caitlyn briefly, but bluntly, admitting she considered suicide by firearm earlier in life.

Speaking on her coming out, Jenner shared that the support from "the Lady Gagas and Miley Cyrus and Elton John" meant the world to her after she made her revelation.
