President Barak Obama is a hip-hop fan and is friendly with some of the biggest rappers around, but that does not mean he can rap. 

Wale Teams Up With Michelle Obama to Help College-Bound Teens

The president made that clear to an audience of college-bound students at the White House's Beating the Odds Summit, noting at the end of a speech that he is better at leading the country than rocking the mic.

Before passing the microphone to Wale -- who participated in the summit's events -- Obama said, "I've got to give the mic back, so the main attraction can come back out here."

He went on, settling into the riff: "My rapping skills are terrible. That's one thing I can't do, is rap. I like rap, but I cannot rap. Although I have enough of a rap I got Michelle to marry me."
