Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson, as Derek Zoolander and Hansel, walk the runway at the Valentino Fashion Show during Paris Fashion Week at Espace Ephemere Tuileries on March 10, 2015 in Paris, France.

Aside from Star Wars: The Force Awakens, no upcoming movie's cast has been subject to more speculation this year than Zoolander 2, which doesn't even hit screens until 2016.

Top 5 Music Moments From 'Zoolander'

That's because 2001's Zoolander set the bar high with an insane who's-who of music/film/fashion/etc. cameos. Hell, David Bowie is in it!

So as Zoolander 2 approaches, these are the confirmed cameos, the rumored appearances and our wish-list suggestions for the film's cast.

A Justin Bieber Action Sequence Will Open 'Zoolander 2'

Ariana Grande
After Grande's Donutgate, Susan Sarandon came to her defense, informing the world that she'd just filmed Zoolander 2 scenes with the "Problem" singer and found her to be a "sweet, talented, true American."

Justin Bieber
JB's presence in Z2 is confirmed. He'll open the film with a sequence that finds him doing a military-style obstacle course (perhaps like the opening sequence of Silence of the Lambs).

Fred Armisen
The 8G Band leader on Late Night With Seth Meyers recently flew to Rome to film scenes for the movie. "I have no idea what I'm allowed to say about it, but I'll say it's a role that has lots of special effect," he told Billboard in a recent chat.

Kanye West
This is more-or-less an open secret. Many publications ran with reports of this months ago, and although director/star Ben Stiller refuses to outright confirm the Kanye casting, IMDb does list West as a participant -- along with wife Kim Kardashian West.

Katy Perry
Speaking to Forbes in mid-July, Perry teased she was filming "a little cameo in a movie" while in Italy. Considering that Zoolander 2 was shooting in Rome, a Katy Perry appearance seems very likely.

According to a slew of Mika fan sites, Lebanese-British pop singer Mika was spotted filming scenes for Zoolander 2 in Italy. It would make sense -- Mika's about as fashionable as you get. But take this with whatever size grain of salt you see fit.

Mark Ronson
Back when he was just a rich kid embarking on a DJ career, a pre-international fame Mark Ronson popped up in Zoolander. Now that he's a bona fide music star in his own right, he should stop by the set for a victory lap.

Lady Gaga
Is it possible to do a movie centered in the fashion world without including LG? More than any other pop star in the 21st century, she's embodied the zany antics of the fashion world Zoolander lampoons. Even if she makes a cameo inside an egg, we'll be happy.

Nicki Minaj
Regardless of what she's wearing (or not wearing), Minaj is always on-point. And we're just saying, we wouldn't mind a spoof of that bizarre Grammys exorcism performance involving Minaj herself.
