Sophie B. Hawkins Welcomes Daughter at 50 Years Old
Sophie B. Hawkins welcomed a new daughter on Tuesday, named Esther Ballantine Hawkins.
The baby girl was born at New York Presbyterian Hospital Weill Cornell Campus, People reports, weighing 8 pounds.
Esther Ballantine Hawkins is the 50-year-old singer's second child, as the new younger sister to her 6-year-old son Dashiell.
The "Damn, I Wish I Was Your Lover" singer announced in February that she was expecting a baby girl, after being implanting with her own frozen embryo.
On Tuesday, Hawkins posted hospital images announcing the baby was on her way and also revealing they would both have been born at the same hospital.
