Keith Caulfield answers readers' questions about Mandy Moore, Christine McVie and Boyz II Men.

I heard that Mandy Moore was going to come out with a greatest hits CD. If this is true, what songs will be on it?

Hi Jewell,

Mandy Moore does indeed have a greatest hits set coming. "The Best of Mandy Moore" will be released Nov. 16 via Epic. The 14-track album includes her six top 40 Mainstream Top 40 airplay chart hits: "Candy," "I Wanna Be With You," "Walk Me Home," "In My Pocket," "Crush" and "Have A Little Faith In Me" (see the full track list below).

Earlier this year, Moore signed a new deal with Sire Records. She is presently working on material that will surface on a new studio effort in early 2005. Her most recent album, "Coverage," was released in late 2003 and has sold 282,000 units to date according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Here is the track list for "The Best of Mandy Moore."

"Walk Me Home"
"So Real"
"I Wanna Be With You"
"In My Pocket"
"Only Hope"
"Have A Little Faith In Me"
"Can We Still Be Friends"
"Senses Working Overtime"

Hi Keith

I was wondering what the sales have been for Christine McVie's new album "In the Meantime." I'm a long time Fleetwood Mac fan and was saddened that she was not part of the Mac's "Say You Will" CD and tour. I bought "In the Meantime" and think it's brilliant and shows a more "rocker" side to Ms. McVie, while still showing her light-pop that she has been providing to her fans for almost 40 years.

Hi Patrick,

I too missed Christine McVie on the most recent Fleetwood Mac album, "Say You Will."

Her new album, "In The Meantime," has sold just over 6,000 units in its first two weeks of release. The set was issued through Koch Records. It debuted at No. 32 on Billboard's Top Independent Albums chart in the Sept. 25 issue.

Hi Keith,

My girlfriend recently purchased a copy of Boyz II Men's greatest hits album ["Legacy: The Greatest Hits Collection"]. I was never a fan, but I'm now suddenly starting to appreciate their music. Can you tell me the sales figures for their albums and highest-selling singles? Also, did the group officially break up? If not, are there any plans to release new material in the future?

Given how popular they were, it's surprising to think how quickly they faded from radio and the charts. Any ideas why? Do you know what each of the guys are doing nowadays?

Hi Jeremy,

Actually, Boyz II Men released a new album, "Throwback," on MSM/Koch in late August. The covers set features the quartet's take on a bevy of old school R&B hits.

The album debuted at No. 52 on The Billboard 200, No. 8 on Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums, and No. 5 on Top Independent Albums. It has sold 44,000 units to date according to Nielsen SoundScan.

Boyz II Men has sold over 22 million albums in the U.S. Its biggest selling set is "II," which has shifted 8.6 million units. The act's biggest selling single is "One Sweet Day," their collaboration with Mariah Carey. It has moved 2.3 million copies since its release in 1995.
