Danzig Dons The Misfits' Skull Face Makeup for First Time in 35 Years

While the Misfits soldiered on after Danzig left the punk outfit in the early '80s, Danzig hasn't donned the iconic skull face ("Crimson Ghost") makeup since well before that split.

Until now.

Okay, make that until yesterday. On May 28, 2015, Danzig and the Misfits makeup were reunited for the first time since 1979-1980, according to the singer's estimation.

In preparation for an upcoming covers album called Skeletons, the rock singer is returning to the face he wiped away long ago -- at least for a moment.

Could a reunion with the current iteration of the Misfits -- which features sole remaining original member Jerry Only -- be on the way? Don't hold your breath, but hey, at least enjoy those man pecs while they're hot.
