The Roots will be among the 2015 honorees added to the Philadelphia Music Walk of Fame.

The hip-hop heroes and house band for The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon will be inducted on Oct. 26, along with jazz legend Billie Holiday, Asleep at the Wheel frontman Ray Benson, hard rock band Cinderella, disco group the Trammps, Broadway star Andrea McArdle and WOGL on-air personality Harvey Holiday.

Philadelphia Music Alliance board chairman Alan Rubens also announced that the afternoon induction ceremony will be followed that evening by a celebratory gala held at the new 3,000-seat Fillmore Philadelphia.

Additional details regarding the gala’s host and performers will be announced in the coming months.
