Wu-Tang Clan performs at Bumbershoot Festival Day, Seattle, on August 30, 2014.

Philadelphia brewery Dock Street Beer announced it's creating a Wu-Tang Clan-inspired beer, titled Once Ain't Nuthin to Funk With. How, precisely, is this brew inspired by the Staten Island crew, you ask? Simple: The brewery is playing Wu-Tang music on Spotify 24/7 while the beer ages for the next six months.

While this isn't an official Wu-Tang-endorsed product, it got us thinking about the many beers created by musicians over the last five-or-so years. Thirty years ago, singers were more likely to pose for a few pictures next to a beer or liquor and move on with their lives (after collecting a paycheck, obviously).
