Letterman has been vocal for his love of Dave Grohl & Co. over the years, citing the 1997 song "Everlong" as a source of inspiration while he recovered from open-heart surgery in 2000.

Expect tears, hugs and Letterman asking Taylor Hawkins about his drum kit when the Foos help Dave say goodbye tonight.
