The high school students who showed up to Chance the Rapper's latest Open Mike Night event in Chicago on Monday (May 11) were treated to a special performance from Kanye West, who earlier in the day had received his honorary doctorate from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago.

West was one of two special guests at the event. Vic Mensa also performed for the crowd. The set list included "We Don't Care," which featured all three guys on the stage together, as well as "All Day" and "U Mad."

Afterwards, Chance thanked his special guests for stopping by. "Our 5th @OpenMikeChicago was a success," he tweeted. "1st one on THE SOUTHSIDE! Thank you guests: @bopkingdlow @VicMensa @KanyeWest."
