Watch U2's Epic 'Tonight Show' Appearance: From Bike Riding with Fallon to Subway Busking

U2 took over The Tonight Show on Friday (May 9) for an episode filled with comedy, a performance and some real talk from the band's frontman, Bono.

In addition to the previously reported moment of the guys hitting the NYC subway in disguise to perform for unknowing New Yorkers, Bono also poked fun at his recent bike accident by getting on a bike, alongside host Jimmy Fallon. The sketch included the Irish rocker (well his stand-in) getting hit by a van (twice).

Bono also opened up to Fallon about the real-life, headline-making incident when he sat down with him in the studio. "There's nothing, nothing cool about coming off a push bike," Bono said. "It's not a Harley-Davidson. There's nothing cool, there's Lycra involved."
