Britney Spears Extends Las Vegas Residency Despite Injury

Britney Spears is staying put in Las Vegas. 

The singer announced on The Ellen DeGeneres Show on Tuesday that she's extending her residency at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino for three more months, despite recently suffering an injury onstage, tearing her ligaments and canceling a weekend of shows.

"I actually wasn’t doing anything that hard, I was just kind of bopping around," she told Ellen DeGeneres of the fall. "And I’ve done like eight years worth of shows — plenty of shows and I’ve never actually fell on stage, so it was really kind of embarrassing."

"I got up, and my dancers guided me to keep going. So, not bad," she continued. "The show must go on."
