It's the question we never knew we needed answered. Until now.

Miranda Hobbes herself, Cynthia Nixon, is finally revealing which Sex and the City character Beyonce would be.

Is she a Charlotte? A Carrie? A Miranda? Or, perhaps, is she a Samantha?

When Nixon appeared on Watch What Happens Live this week, she finally weighed in on the issue. And, drumroll please!

Beyonce is a Samantha. We wonder how Sasha Fierce feels about that.

Nixon also revealed what category other pop culture figures would fall into. Queen Elizabeth and Michele Bachmann are Charlottes. Michelle Obama and Oprah Winfrey are Carries, naturally. Gandi is "clearly" a Mr. Big. Clearly.

She also used her Miranda expertise to reveal that Ruth Bader Ginsburg, Hillary Clinton and Lena Dunham are all the real-life versions of her TV alter ego.
