Rapper Lil B is putting a hotel on blast after he claims that someone on the staff stole a significant amount of cash from his room earlier this week.

The rapper first tweeted about the incident on April 27 when he wrote, "So people that work at hotels are stealing from rooms now?? Not cool Oakland ca and shame on the manager and staff who wronged Lil B."

He later confirmed the incident to TMZ on May 1. He says that $10,000 went missing from his room at the Oakland Airport's Red Lion hotel after he was asked to leave when guests complained about the smell of marijuana was coming from his room.

He says that he was told by hotel management that security entered his room while he was not there and found marijuana. It was when he went to his room to collect his belongings that he noticed that the money was missing.

He reportedly recorded a video of himself approaching the hotel's front desk asking to file a report. Lil B says he tried to file a report with the police department. TMZ further reports that authorities in Oakland are "still in the process of verifying if this incident occurred."

For their part, the hotel did tweet the rapper asking him to contact their guest relations team.
