There's only two months until A$AP Rocky makes his film debut in Dope, and now a trailer for the film is giving fans a taste of what's to come in the hip-hop flavored coming-of-age dramedy.

The film follows a geeky Los Angeles high school student Malcolm (played Shameik Moore) as he tries to navigate life and his feelings for his crush (played by Zoe Kravitz). Rocky plays a drug dealer who offers up Malcolm and his crew the chance to attend an underground party.

The trailer premiered on Friday (Apr. 17).

Dope hits theaters on June 19 and will include four new songs from Pharrell.

Rocky recently opened up about his role in the summer flick.

"I think it'll be a hip-hop classic, and we haven't had one of those in so long," Rokcy told Billboard last month about the flick. "I was helping Chanel go over her lines and gravitated to this role instantly. The character, I could relate to him. But the next role I do, it will be less cliche. I play a 26-year-old drug dealer. He's a thug with an elegant, intelligent side. He's one of those guys who's just a product of his environment but at the same time he kind of strives to get out of his predicament."
