Watch Ad-Rock Offer Romance Advice In 'Ask a Grown Man' Series

Ad-Rock to Score Father's Off-Broadway Play

If you've ever needed some advice and wanted to ask Beastie Boy member Adam Horovitz (aka Ad-Rock) for some help, he's now offering up some sage wisdom in the latest installment of Rookie's "Ask a Grown Man" series.

The advice segment includes Ad-Rock sharing tips with young fans about first kisses, breakups and how to deal with boyfriends.

But, it wasn't just about love. Ad-Rock also had some great advice for one young person who needed his take on how to feel more confident and battle the blues.

"I know that when I get down or feel alone or depressed, I make music and it makes me happy," he said. "I would say, think about the thing that makes you happiest and do that. If it's drawing or dancing or listening to music or bowling, whatever it is that makes you happy, I would focus on that and you'll definitely gain some confidence from that particular thing. Comfort, for sure."
