Zayn Malik leaves One Direction in March 2015.

If it's still too hard for you to listen to One Direction songs following Zayn Malik's exit, we know how you feel. His voice is lovely so, but the wound is so fresh.

However, if you still need a boy band fix to get you through the pain, we've rounded up some of the saddest boy band break-up tunes that probably sum up exactly how you're feeling right now.

So, dim the lights, break out the tissues and press play. And, remember, we're all in this together.

Backstreet Boys: "Show Me The Meaning of Being Lonely"

One of BSB's most depressing singles ever, "Show Me The Meaning of Being Lonely" actually includes the lines "Show me the meaning of being lonely/ Is this the feeling I need to walk with?/ Tell me why I can't be there where you are/ There's something missing in my heart." Yep, that pretty much sums it all up.

'N Sync: "Gone"

The song is called "Gone," need we say anything else?

New Kids on The Block: "Please Don't Go Girl"

OK, the ballad is called "Please Don't Go Girl," but -- despite Zayn's gender -- the sentiment remains relevant. Plus Danny Wood's spoken word part rings so, so true: "We've been together for a long time, baby/ Do you have to leave?"

Take That: "Back For Good"

Maybe if we play "Back For Good" enough times, Zayn will hear the call and reconsider his decision to leave 1D? Please?

BB Mak: "Back Here"

On the track, the British trio sings, "Baby, set me free from this misery/ I can't take it no more/ Since you ran away nothing's been the same/ Don't know what I'm living for." This feels so true right now, Zayne. "Miss you, want you, need you so."
