With Zayn Malik currently taking a break from One Direction's current tour, outspoken TV personality Wendy Williams is offering up her take on the singer's hiatus.

And, unsurprisingly, she's not holding back.

"If you can do five-part harmony, it's just as easy to do four-part harmony," she said during a segment on her talk show on Mar. 23. "I say kick this guy out of the group because now that is more money for the rest of us, we don't have you split money five ways."

However, Williams is showing her support for Malik, who left the tour last week to deal with "stress."

"I'm not mad at this guy," she said. "I admire him for standing in his own truth, which is that being a celebrity particularly as a young person is very, it's a lot. And all he wants to do is go back and live a normal life. Well then let him go on and be with [Little House on the Prairie writer] Laura Ingalls [in the country]. I'm just saying I appreciate people who stand in their own truth so if this is what this guy wants to do then kick him out of the band. And we don't need to audition anybody new. Four members of the group are fine."

Why Zayn Malik's Absence From One Direction is Far From Shocking

Still, the show must go on until Malik's return. 1D will perform in Jakarta on Wednesday (March 25) before traveling to Africa for a string of dates. No date has been given for Malik's return to the tour.
