Christina Aguilera will soon go from spinning in a big, red chair on The Voice to wearing a big, red nose for charity. She is one of the first stars set to be involved with a U.S. version of Red Nose Day.

The charity special will air on NBC later this year. A date for the three-hour fundraiser has yet to be announced. In addition to Aguilera, Sienna Miller will also play a part in the event, which takes place biannually in the UK.

"Red Nose Day is almost like a national holiday in the UK," Miller said in a statement. "I'm thrilled it's coming to the US."

Additional celebrities have yet to be announced. The event will raise money for charities in Africa, Asia, Latin America and the U.S., including Boys & Girls Clubs of America, Children's Health Fund and United Way.

The UK version of the charity event aired last week. It featured appearances from the likes of One Direction, as well a performance from Sam Smith and John Legend who teamed up to re-record Smith's "Lay Me Down" to raise funds for the charity.
