Billboard is proud to announce that Mike Bruno, former digital content vice president, has been promoted to senior vice president, digital content, effectively immediately (March 17).

"Mike Bruno's new role puts emphasis squarely on Billboard's digital evolution and success story," says Janice Min, co-president and chief creative officer of Guggenheim Media's Entertainment Group. "We've seen explosive record-setting growth in the last year since Mike joined, and we expect to continue on that path with enhanced content strategies, new digital and video offerings, and a continued presence as the industry's must read and pulse."

Billboard magazine's editor-in-chief, Tony Gervino, will now report to Bruno, with continued oversight by Min. Bruno will report to Dan Strauss, general manager, digital for Billboard and The Hollywood Reporter, and Min.

Bruno's digital leadership helped bring to its best ever month in February, according to early reporting from comScore. In January, Billboard notched 15.2 million worldwide uniques, according to comScore -- that's a 77 percent increase over the prior year.

With 12.4 million followers across Twitter, Facebook and Instagram, Billboard continues to show growth for 2015. BillboardThe Hollywood Reporter Media Group is the fifth largest Entertainment/News site, according to comScore.
