April 25: Lea Michele and Darren Criss attend the Jonsson Cancer Center Foundation's 19th Annual "A Taste For A Cure" at The Regent Beverly Wilshire Hotel on April 25, 2014 in Beverly Hills, California.

It's almost time for Glee to take its final curtain call. Days ahead of the show's series finale, a new track, penned by castmate Darren Criss especially for the show and performed by Lea Michele, is getting an early release.

"This Time" is a piano ballad on which Michele sings "I'm not afraid of moving on/ And letting go/ It's just so hard to say goodbye to what I know." It's set to be her last solo on the show.

"It was the most special day," she told Entertainment Weekly about the song. EW premiered the track on Mar. 16. "I got to say everything to everyone here and everyone who will watch it that I wanted to say, but you can't think of the words, and he wrote them."

The song marks Criss' second contribution to the show's soundtrack. In an episode which aired on Mar. 6, his track "Rise" was performed by the New Directions.

Glee's two-hour series finale airs on March 20 at 8 p.m. on Fox.
