Lifehouse Performs on Airplane to Mixed Reviews

Los Angeles rockers Lifehouse were excited to perform a surprise set for passengers a Southwest Air flight Wednesday, but not everyone onboard the plane shared that sentiment. One traveler took to live tweeting the whole painful experience. 

The saga starts as the band prepared to board the plane and it sent out a number of enthusiastic tweets about the promotional gig soaring from Los Angeles to Denver. 

 

The surprise concert featured the band's new single, "Hurricane." Here are some photos of the in-flight performance:

 

And while a number of the passengers were happy to have the band onboard...

 

...at least one sports writer was not pleased. Jonah Keri of Grantland took to Twitter to express his frustration in a long series of posts that make for a pretty funny -- albiet harsh -- read.

What started as a short trip simply reading the New Yorker, turned to torture for Keri: 

 

At least Keri made it out alive. Here's hoping he's not staying at this hotel, though:
