Johnny Depp Injures Hand Filming 'Pirates' Sequel

Johnny Depp trades Alice in Wonderland for Alice Cooper when performing with the rocker at the London's 100 Club during songs "School's Out" and "I'm Eighteen" on June 26.

You might want to start writing your "get well" cards. Johnny Depp injured his hand filming Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales in Australia last weekend, The Hollywood Reporter confirmed.

The actor will get surgery in the U.S. following the incident. A rep for the production confirms that the incident will have "minimal" impact on filming. The film will still hit theaters on July 7, 2017.

No word on what it means for Depp's musical venture with his rock supergroup, the Hollywood Vampires.

The band, comprised of Depp, Alice Cooper, Aerosmith's Joe Perry, recently hit the studio with Paul McCartney to work on their debut album. Perry shared the release will be "dedicated to all the friends we've lost to drugs and alcohol over the years and getting people to come in and cover the songs their friends wrote."

The band confirmed last month they will play the Rock in Rio festival in Sept.
