Members of Russian feminist punk group Pussy Riot made their acting debut and released a new song during the third season of Netflix's House of Cards, which premiered on Friday (Feb. 27).

Pussy Riot Talk Eric Garner-Inspired 'I Can't Breathe,' and the Nascent 'Russian Spring'

Pussy Riot's Nadya Tolokonnikova and Masha Alyokhina played themselves during a scene where a fictional Russian president attends a dinner at the White House. Tolokonnikova and Alyokhina make a public protest against the Putin-inspired president during the scene.

Pussy Riot also debuted a new song -- titled "Don't Cry Genocide," according to Pitchfork -- during the end credits of the show. The song is reportedly a collaboration with Le Tigre members JD Samson and Johanna Fateman. Watch below, via Revolt.

As previously reported, Pussy Riot recently released their first English song, "I Can't Breathe." Inspired by Eric Garner's death last July and the subsequent protests this winter, the song was produced with an all-star cast of musicians, including Miike Snow's Andrew Wyatt, Nick Zinner of the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and Russian bands Scofferlane and Jack Wood.
