Marian "Suge" Kinght appears at his arraignmet at Compton Courthouse on Feb. 3, 2015 in Compton, California.  Knight is charged with murder and attempted murder after a hit-and-run incident following an argument in a parking lot on Jan. 29, 2015.

Immediately after pleading not guilty to murder, attempted murder and other charges, Suge Knight was rushed to a Los Angeles hospital due to what an ABC L.A. affiliate is calling a "medical condition." Knight's attorney's office declined to comment on the reports.

The Downey Fire Department confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter that an emergency call was placed to the courthouse and paramedics were sent, but they wouldn't reveal who needed assistance.

Another report from ABC 7 in L.A. says that Compton cops reported gunshots fired just one block from the courthouse at Laurel St. and Oleander Ave. Compton police confirmed they received a call about a gunshot but did not find anything upon investigating the nearby scene.

Last Thursday in Compton, Knight hit two men -- 55-year-old Terry Carter and 51-year-old Cle "Bone" Sloan -- with his car and fled the scene. The car collision claimed the life of Carter.

Knight's attorney says the incident was an accident that happened while Knight fled an altercation.

Knight, 49, could face life in prison if convicted.
