Fabolous, DJ Mustard & Angie Martinez Set for Roc Nation Sports' 'Throne Boxing' Event
Roc Nation Sports has announced the performance lineup for its first hybrid fight/live music event, called throne boxing, to be held Jan. 9 in New York City. In addition to a 10-round bout between Dusty Hernandez Harrison and Tommy Rainone, spectators will see DJ Mustard and radio/TV emcee Angie Martinez throughout the evening, plus performances by rapper Fabolous between each fight. Well-known boxing announcer Michael Buffer will also make appearances.
The event will be telecast live from NYC's legendary Madison Square Garden in the first of a three-event deal with Fox Sports 1, with dates and venues for two future bouts will be confirmed at a later date.
Tickets for the Jan. 9 fight are priced at $205, $105, $55 and $30 (plus any Ticketmaster charges), and are available for purchase at the MSG box office, online at www.thegarden.com and at all Ticketmaster outlets. One dollar from each ticket sold will be donated to the Muhammad Ali Center.
