Joanna Newsom Guests On Radiohead's 'Spooks' From 'Inherent Vice' Soundtrack

New Radiohead music you say?

Well, sort of.

For the upcoming Paul Thomas Anderson flick Inherent Vice, Radiohead’s Jonny Greenwood put a new spin on the band’s 2006 non-album track “Spooks,” with some help from the film’s star, singer-songwriter-turned-actress Joanna Newsom.

Check out the Inherent Vice version of “Spooks” below, which features spoken-word vocals from Newsom, in addition to studio help from Gaz Coombes and Dany Goffey, former members of the broken-up Britpop band Supergrass.

Inherent Vice, based on the Thomas Pynchon novel, hits theaters on Dec. 12. The soundtrack drops Dec. 15 on Nonesuch Records.
