Today, Billboard is shining the spotlight on Broadway star and X Factor finalist Rachel Potter with an exclusive listen to her new track, "Zero To Sixty." The song is from her full-length debut disc, Not So Black and White, which will be released on March 3. Of the emotionally-charged track, Potter tells Billboard, "I was inspired to write this song when I had just started dating someone and things were moving really fast. I think a lot of people can relate to that feeling... the thrill of taking a leap of faith and diving head first into love. I hope it gives people the warm and fuzzies thinking about the promise and excitement of new romance."

Born in Louisiana but raised in Florida, Potter was influenced musically by her parents (who leaned toward rock), her Baptist church upbringing, and her classical training. She also performed in several shows at Walt Disney World, and later starred in Broadway adaptations of The Addams Family and Evita. In 2012, she released her debut EP, Live The Dream, which showcased her diverse musical background.

Potter went on to become a Top 12 finalist on season three of The X Factor, earning praise for her rendition of Queen's "Somebody to Love," which has now reached over 18 million views on YouTube and will be featured on her upcoming disc.
