Hologram Paul McCartney Enters Video Game World in Terrible New Video

You may have heard that Paul McCartney recorded a new song, "Hope for the Future," for the online first-person shooter game Destiny. You may have listened to it and gone, "Well, not great, but he's done worse."

But if you haven't seen the video, you have to watch it now.

The clip finds a Princess Leia-esque hologram of McCartney singing to blue and green aliens about building bridges to the sky, as well as rhyming "seen" with "been." Meanwhile, warriors walk around deserts with guns, spaceships fly over barren landscapes and other sci-fi happenings happen.

Best/worst of all, McCartney was reportedly paid nothing for this project, taking part in it just for the sake of creativity. After watching the video, you will want to ask McCartney something his old bandmate sang 50 years ago: "Tell me why."
