The Simpsons is well-known for its opening-credit couch gags, so it's no surprise they've created something special for this Sunday's holiday episode: Obligatory Frozen Reference.

These days, if you're setting anything -- even a sitcom theme song -- in any kind of winter wonderland, people are going to assume you're making a Frozen reference. So you might as well lean into it, as The Couch Gag Before Christmas does when they have Lisa channeling Elsa in an ice castle fortress.

Oh, and Homer makes a very good Olaf, save for eating his nose. The Christmas episode of The Simpsons, "I Won't Be Home For Christmas," airs Dec. 7 on Fox.
