Bruno Mars performs at Wireless Festival at Finsbury Park on July 6, 2014 in London, United Kingdom.

Saturday Night Live's 40th season is bringing Cameron Diaz on board to host this weekend, and she'll be joined by musical guests Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson. The duo will perform their new single "Uptown Funk," which Ronson recently told Billboard is "one of Bruno’s favorite things that he’s ever done."

Is everyone prepared for SNL, though? Check out the new promo to find out -- looks like there might be some jitters, even if they're the jokey kind:

The jam comes from Ronson's upcoming fourth solo album, Upcoming Special. "I pushed myself much more than I have on anything else in the past," Ronson said of the single, which pushed him to the point of passing out in a restaurant between studio sessions. The album will feature cameos from Australia's Tame Impala, veteran rapper Mystikal, and the Pulitzer-prize winning novelist Michael Chabon. A Jan. 27 release date has been set.

Bruno Mars and Mark Ronson also released a rad "Uptown Funk" video shortly after throwing the single online. As the good lord James Brown said -- "make it funky!"
