Tuesday night's round of late night talkshow performances was led by indie rock legend Johnny Marr, who stopped by The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to promote his new solo album Playland. Below, watch Marr and his three-man backing band tear through the catchy Britpop single “Easy Money”:

And for a web exclusive, Marr stuck around to perform a Smiths classic -- the 1987 track "Stop Me If You Think You’ve Heard This One Before." Marr and his band have been performing a handful of Smiths songs on their current tour (such as “There Is a Light That Never Goes Out”) but this one got the whole studio recording treatment:

Over on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Conor Oberst was on hand to play a pair of songs off his 2014 record Upside Down Mountain. First, he did some soul-searching on "Zigzagging Toward the Light.” Watch the steel guitar and vocal harmonies come to play in the video below:

And next up, Oberst closed with "Artifact #1”:

Finally, David Letterman welcomed OK Go to The Late Show. Even when they’re not working on a music video, the quartet finds ways to break the mold and get inventive. For this performance of “I Won’t Let You Down” (from their 2014 album Hungry Ghosts) they collaborated with a string section and some jarring lighting effects.
