Perhaps Johnny Depp has found another guitarist to inspire one of his characters.

Depp surprised the audience at Marilyn Manson's concert on Halloween night at the Roxy in West Hollywood, Calif., by playing guitar on the 1990s hit "Beautiful People."

Depp appeared to be having a ball on stage with Manson and rapper Ninja from the group Die Antwoord. Ninja hugged Depp at one point during the song.

The actor, who famously based his Jack Sparrow characterization in part on Rolling Stones axman Keith Richards, is a talented guitarist who dropped by an Aerosmith show in Boston to perform one song with the band in July.
