The members of Flying Colors just want a place in your world -- and they’ve got the flashy riffs, drum fills and vocal harmonies to prove it. The prog-friendly supergroup released its sophomore album Second Nature on Sept. 30 and they're premiering the video for the catchy single “A Place in Your World” exclusively via Billboard today.

Flying Colors features lead vocalist/instrumentalist Casey McPherson, guitarist Steve Morse (Deep Purple, Dixie Dregs, Kansas), drummer Mike Portnoy (Transatlantic, Winery Dogs, Dream Theater), keyboardist Neal Morse (Transatlantic, Spock’s Beard), and bassist Dave LaRue (Dixie Dregs, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai). With all that experience, you can bet they’re in their element in a studio video like this.

"The video for 'A Place In Your World' captures the band in our most natural and comfortable environment: the studio,” drummer Mike Portnoy says. “The song is a great example of what has become the 'Flying Colors sound': catchy vocal hooks with clever, tasty musicianship sprinkled on top. It's also a great example of the Flying Colors vocal blend as it features lead vocal turns from all three vocalists (myself, Neal, and Casey) and a chorus that features a three-part harmony with all of us.”

Those major league harmonies are in full display in the video above.

Flying Colors recently played a trio of early October U.S. dates (Los Angeles, Chicago, and Philadelphia) and are currently wowing audiences in the middle of a European tour.

Second Nature recently debuted at No. 74 on the Billboard 200. Its predecessor, 2012’s self-titled album, debuted at 81.
