The Ariana Grande and Big Sean relationship rumors have been flying around for a couple of months now -- reaching fever pitch last month when the frequent collaborators were caught on video holding hands backstage at the VMAs. But neither has gone on the record to make it official.

That didn't stop Ryan Seacrest from trying to get Sean to 'fess up when he visited the On Air With Ryan Seacrest studios on Friday (Sept. 26). While he kept his cool, Sean did broadcast his feelings a little bit.

"I like to keep my personal life personal, but I am gonna tell you this: Ariana's very very special, and she's very special to me," he admits. "Everything she has going on is good with her, everything I have going on is good with me, everything between me and her is good, and I'mma just leave it at that."

Sean started out his response by letting Seacrest know how much he respects him, especially given his cameo in Knocked Up.

"When you said you had watched Knocked Up, I thought you were going to tell me an entirely different story," Seacrest joked, in reference to Grande. "You should have seen your management in the other room."
